FTC OIG FY 2013 Financial Statements Audit

In PDF pages 117-122 of the Federal Trade Commission's Performance and Accountability Report for Fiscal Year 2013, find the unqualified opinion on the FTC's FY 2013 financial statements. The OIG contracted with the independent certified public accounting firm of Brown & Company CPAs, PLLC, to audit the FTC's financial statements as of September 30, 2013, and for the year then ended.

Federal Trade Commission's Compliance with the Improper Payments Elimination and Recovery Act of 2010

In accordance with Section 3 (b) of Public Law 111-204, Improper Payments Elimination and Recovery Act of 2010 (hereafter referred to as IPERA), this memorandum communicated the results of the OIG's determination of the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC's) compliance with applicable provisions of IPERA, covering the FTC's FY 2012 activities. Based on the Office of Management and Budget's definition of compliance, the evaluation determined that the FTC is compliant.
